KITCHEN MANAGER

Atel LLC (dba Boardwalk Bar & Grill) is hiring a Kitchen Manager to oversee food operations at a high volume, quick serve, seasonal restaurant & bar in the Lakes Region of NH.

The ideal candidate knows how to cook & run a kitchen, how to train, manage, & oversee staff, how to manage inventory & contain costs, and how to maintain a clean & safe kitchen.

Responsibilities

· Train, educate, & oversee kitchen team

· Maintain a positive, collegial environment

· Develop menus & recipes

· Create protocols and procedures

· Manage day-to-day kitchen operations

· Manage inventory & costs

· Insure safety, sanitation, & cleanliness

 

Desired Qualifications

· 5+ years of restaurant experience

· Management and supervisory experience

· A self-starter and hard-worker

· A positive, contributing team member

· A thoughtful communicator

· Knowledge of cost and labor systems

· Thorough knowledge of safety & sanitation systems and regulations

 

Potential for year round employment and/or a larger role within the company.

Salary:  Depending on experience & skills, plus incentive compensation

Availability:  Full time, May 1 to Sept 22, 2023
